Hall Lets

The Hazel Hall, built in 2000 and named after a former church treasurer, can be booked for regular classes, one-off events and children’s parties  It can accommodate up to 60 people. .

Rates charged for hall lets:

Regular lets are £18 for the first hour and £15 for each subsequent hour.
One-off lets are £25 per hour.

Children’s parties, see below.

Parties

For children’s parties, we offer two fixed rates, £50 for 3 hours or £60 for 3½ hrs. Please allow adequate time to set-up your party and clear-up afterwards. In our experience, tidying up often takes longer than expected and so we recommend allowing up to an hour.

The church is an Eco-congregation and wishes to discourage the use of disposable items; so we have a party pack of reusable plastic plates, bowls and beakers in bright colours (42 of each) for use at parties; everything needed to wash up afterwards is provided. A small contribution for use of the party pack eg around the amount saved from not having to buy paper plates etc, would be appreciated.

The hall is usually available for parties on Saturdays mornings and afternoons and Sundays after 1.30 pm.

Information

The hall is located behind St Ninian’s Church, and is reached by way of a path at the west (left) side of the Church. Hire of the hall, which has plenty of tables and chairs, includes use of a well equipped kitchen and toilets; an enclosed back garden can be used in suitable weather. The hall is well served by buses and there is pay and display parking in the vicinity which is free after 5.30pm and at weekends. Please note the church has no parking (the next door car park belongs to adjacent flats.)
