Ninian's Nippers
Ninians Nippers Baby and Toddler Group has been running successfully in the heart of Comely Bank for the past 10 years. It was set up by the church mums, for all adult carers of young children. It is a safe and welcoming place where local families can ‘be’ together in a warm and friendly environment.
In the hall we set up age-appropriate toys/books and in warmer weather we can also enjoy outdoor play in the enclosed garden – Bubbles and parachutes feature greatly!
So please feel free to ‘drop in’ with your wee one on a Tuesday afternoon between 2-3.30pm – enjoy chat, play, Tea/Coffee & home baking and even a wee Sing Song at the end of the session!
There is no charge for this group but donations towards refreshments are greatly appreciated.

As a church member/occasional baker for the group/retired EYP/Grandma who used to bring my grandson weekly and also founder chair of the original ‘mother and toddler group’ in the old hall in 1987; I can truly say what a wonderful friendly group this is. The equipment and toys are varied, safe, clean and suited to all ages and stages of child development. The baking is delicious and the ladies cater for dietary requirements and allergies. If you want to find new friends, spend an hour or so in good company and know that your child is safe at play in an enclosed back garden, then why not join the fun? You’ll be glad you came to visit and your child/charge will be happy too!
